Border Crossers' mission is to train and empower educators to dismantle patterns of racism and injustice in our schools and communities.

Creative Music Programs
All students participate in a variety of music classes through our residencies with Creative Music Programs. Students learn to appreciate and create music across several genres and formats. Most programs end in a culminating performance. ​

Meet the Writers brings inspiring authors and illustrators to students in New York City schools.

Sunset Spark
Students in 1st - 3rd grades participate in a LEGO robotics program for 10-week cycles throughout the year. A robotics lunch club that meets each Tuesday during lunch/recess. 

Prospect Park YMCA
Our 2nd grade students participate in weekly swim class at the YMCA every Tuesday. What an exciting part of the 2nd grade experience!

​Cook shop 
With hands-on workshops reaching over 50,000 New Yorkers annually across all five boroughs, CookShop teaches nutrition and physical activity information, as well as cooking skills, fostering enthusiasm for fresh, affordable fruits, vegetables and other whole foods.

City centers / Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation's mission is to further the pioneering vision of the choreographer, dancer, and cultural leader Alvin Ailey by building an extended cultural community which provides dance performances, training and education, and community programs for all people.
