Field Trip to Cafe Zona Sur

On Tuesday, February 2nd, 1-304 ordered take-out from Cafe Zona Sur for snack. Rachel and Ms. Zhang called Cafe Zona Sur to place an order for six french fries. We counted our money to make sure we had enough (thank you parents!) and we walked over. Students observed the restaurant while we waited for our food: the ceiling, the tables and place settings, the cash register, the music, the menus, the people eating, etc. We were very respectful of other people who were also there to enjoy Cafe Zona Sur's wonderful food. This trip helped with our research for our Restaurant Unit and gave many of us inspiration for review writing in Writing Workshop. Below are the pictures of us eating "family style" to get ready for our field trip to Alma! Delicious!
